BAHAA BIN ABDULRAHMAN BIN ABDULLAH ABALKHAIL

Dr. Bahaa received his Dr.P.H. from Tulane University, School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine , New Orleans, Louisiana, in addition to a Master degree in Medical Education from King Saud University in Riyadh and a Master in Public Health from Tulane University School of Public Health & Tropical Medicine as well.
Dr. Bahaa served in various administrative posts; he is currently the coordinator of the Master program in Epidemiology and Biostatistics at King Abdulaziz University Medical School in collaboration with Harvard University School of Public Health, and the Chairman of Family & community medicine department. He represented the University in various committees at local, regional, national and international levels. He is teaching the following subjects in the department: Principle of biostatistics, advanced biostatistics, principle of epidemiology, advanced epidemiology, computer lab course for statistical and epidemiological computer programs, research methodology, and evaluation research. He attended training workshops and educational courses given by HSPH and Tufts University. Dr. Bahaa had extensive experience in administration, where he was the Vice Dean for Research & Consultation, Chairman of the Department of Family and Community Medicine. His research interest mainly lies in the field of nutrition, health risk assessment, and epidemiology. & biostatistics and medical education. He published about 40 research papers published in local and international journals.
