Program
Objectives and Goals
• To provide a high-quality, community-based
program focused on innovative, interactive, and
inter-disciplinary education and training in
Epidemiology and Biostatistics for health
professionals in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf
Region, and to promote the sharing of applied
knowledge and expertise.
• To strengthen the capability of the Ministry
of Health and other related health institutions
in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Gulf States
to use epidemiology and biostatistics methods to
identify appropriate solutions for existing and
emerging health concerns.
• To provide training in health promotion,
prevention, and rehabilitation in accordance
with local conditions, using existing health
problems as training material.
• To help graduates gain proficiency in
epidemiology and biostatistics and develop the
skills necessary to build an effective and
efficient health care system.
